Job Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and support of DeltaV-Systems and integrated systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Perform all necessary tasks for the installation, upgrades, and maintenance of DeltaV-Systems and all integrated Bus systems, including intelligent field devices and third-party systems, both in-house and at customer sites.
- Oversee installation and maintenance of backup systems, antivirus management, and other cybersecurity solutions.
- Create design documents and test procedures for installations in both validated and non-validated environments.
- Provide proactive support to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits.
- Handle all customer inquiries related to hardware (HW) and software (SW) products or services delivered by the PSS & AO Business Units.
- Register and document all customer interactions in the SMS database, actively analyzing and managing them.
- If necessary, escalate issues to specialists in Emerson Support Centres for further investigation, ensuring problems are followed up until a solution is implemented.
- Provide active on-site service and maintenance for products or services offered by the PSS & AO Business Units.
- Maintain the Installed System Database.
- Register and monitor service contracts, executing services in accordance with the contract and schedule.
- Collaborate with the Desk Sales team on quotations for spare parts, minor expansions, migrations, and upgrades.
- Support the sales team in selling service contracts and facilitating the renewal of these contracts.
- Offer information and technical insights to the Field Sales team.
- Ensure the transfer of technical knowledge within the Service and Engineering department.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Service Manager.
- Follow the “Trade Compliance Screening” procedure diligently.
- Complete all required training and certifications mandated by the service organization.
