Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic Marketing Manager for our Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart division. This role is pivotal in driving the development and execution of a sustainable growth strategy in the EMEA region, focusing on our Intracardiac Echo (ICE) portfolio, with an emphasis on electrophysiology and structural heart applications. As the regional lead for imaging strategy, you will oversee product launches while coordinating critical processes related to business planning, strategic marketing, portfolio management, market research, business performance tracking, and multi-channel marketing. You will report to a US-based Director of Global Strategic Marketing and will need to exert strong cross-functional influence across Commercial, R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Global Education, and external partners to achieve both regional and global outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead strategic marketing plans and programs for our ultrasound product portfolio to enhance ICE penetration and revenue growth in electrophysiology and structural heart disciplines in EMEA. This includes market sizing, opportunity prioritization, contributing to a five-year roadmap for global planning, and making R&D prioritization recommendations.
- Define procedural and clinical adoption playbooks for EMEA markets, addressing adoption barriers and optimizing imaging workflows within catheterization labs.
- Drive planning and coordination for regional product launches, including local market segmentation, pricing input, reimbursement positioning, demand generation tactics, and training/enablement aligned with Commercial and Global Education teams.
- Collaborate with local markets to ensure business continuity through demand planning and forecasting, while communicating progress and opportunities with senior management.
- Shape the evidence generation and clinical claims strategy for EMEA by partnering with HEMA and Clinical/Medical Affairs to define clinical study needs, generate local evidence, and translate outcomes into value messages for payers and providers.
- Provide ongoing market and competitive intelligence specific to EMEA to inform product positioning, lifecycle decisions, and competitive responses, while proactively scanning for disruptive technologies and trends across the region.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver launches, commercial initiatives, and programs on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field required; MBA or advanced clinical degree preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in medical device or imaging product management, marketing, or commercial roles; prior exposure to electrophysiology, structural heart, and/or intracardiac imaging is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of cardiovascular procedures and the technical requirements for imaging-guided interventions.
- Experience in translating clinical insights into product requirements and commercialization plans, encompassing hardware, catheters, software, and AI-enabled imaging features.
- Proven success in navigating a matrix organization and influencing senior stakeholders across Global and Regional functions without direct line authority.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to develop regional forecasts, build business cases, and articulate ROI and economic value to payers and customers.
- Experience in evidence generation, HEOR, or clinical study design, with the capability to align clinical outcomes with commercial value propositions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel within EMEA and globally up to 30%, including major congresses and key customer engagements.
