Specific Requirements

• Technical education or relevant practical experience in a marine environment is advantageous.
• Good administrative skills and proficiency in specialized software, including Office 365 solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Strong command of English and German; knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus.

Your Responsibilities

• Contribute to the smooth operation of daily technical functions across the fleet.
• Ensure all ships are well-maintained, safe, and sustainable in accordance with company standards and budget.
• Oversee repairs to minimize disruption to cruise operations.
• Manage technical stores and maintain inventories.
• Drive continuous improvement in sustainability and technical maintenance, collaborating closely with the Director of Technical Maintenance and Repairs.
• Work with hotel, nautical, finance, and administrative departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable technical standards and regulations.
• Quickly communicate technical failures that affect operations, guest experience, or safety to relevant executive leaders.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to both internal and external partners.
• Promote company values and goals by effectively communicating our mission, vision, and expectations.
