As we enter a new phase of growth and organizational development, we are looking for an analytically strong and commercially minded Commercial Operations Lead. This individual will enhance execution, support key decision-making, and build a scalable foundation for further expansion.
Role Overview
This role focuses on applying economic reasoning to operational and commercial decision-making across various functional areas such as pricing, demand forecasting, cost optimization, production planning, and capital allocation. The primary objective is to transform data and market insights into sound decisions that enhance margins, improve capital efficiency, and support long-term revenue stability.
Due to the CEO being on medical leave, the successful candidate will assume significant daily responsibilities and provide support during this critical growth phase. This is a hands-on position offering broad exposure to operations, supply chain management, product launches, and commercial execution.
The successful candidate will spearhead the execution of an ambitious 2026 pipeline, planning 20 to 30 product launches across Switzerland and international markets. This demands exceptional coordination across planning, production, inventory, timelines, and market execution.
A key component of this role will involve building decision-making models utilizing applied artificial intelligence to assess formulations, consumer demand, sales forecasting, customer preferences, and effective marketing strategies both in Switzerland and abroad.
This presents a unique opportunity for a high-potential candidate to take on considerable responsibilities at an early stage and directly influence commercially significant decisions within a growing Swiss business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume substantial daily operational and commercial responsibilities during the CEO's medical leave.
- Support the business throughout a period of rapid growth in Switzerland and abroad.
- Lead the operational execution of 50 to 100 product launches in 2026, ensuring timely and well-coordinated delivery.
- Translate growth targets into economically grounded operating plans, covering pricing, production cadence, inventory planning, and working capital management.
- Develop and maintain cost, margin, and demand models to facilitate informed business decisions.
- Construct decision-making models using applied artificial intelligence to evaluate formulations, consumer demand, sales forecasting, customer preferences, and marketing strategies.
- Oversee operational processes across forecasting, reporting, procurement, inventory, and supplier coordination.
- Align production planning with demand forecasts and stock requirements.
- Enhance efficiency, strengthen internal coordination, and establish a clear operational framework across the company.
- Assist leadership with prioritization, decision-making, and business continuity.
- Create scalable systems and processes that support long-term growth.
