Throughout your journey, you will collaborate with a variety of clients across diverse industries, addressing complex taxation issues along with related accounting and legal questions, while contributing to their M&A deals and transformation efforts.

From day one, you will take ownership of your clients, support them in realizing their projects, gain firsthand experience, participate in meetings, and manage client communications to ensure seamless project execution.

The M&A Tax Team provides advisory services to both local and international corporate clients, as well as leading private equity firms, focusing on cross-border transactions, real estate deals, tax structuring, M&A activities, and restructuring projects from a global tax perspective.

Our work offers diverse insights through close collaboration with our Transaction Services teams and various international Deloitte member firms. This interdisciplinary approach will empower you to navigate and advance your career effectively.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Engage in M&A deals with direct client interaction from your first day, taking responsibility for cross-divisional projects and communications across various sectors.
  • Leverage your strengths to advise clients on complex tax matters during M&A transactions by coordinating multiple workstreams and overseeing internal project management to deliver comprehensive, value-added outcomes.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A positive, solution-oriented attitude with a readiness to take on responsibility and find solutions across diverse M&A transactions for various clients.
  • A flair for numbers and taxes, with the ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure, alongside the capacity to prioritize workload and a desire to expand your knowledge.
  • Interest in working at the intersection between business administration and law.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, business administration, or a similar field, ideally with tax knowledge.
  • Confident communication skills in German and English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
