Our Actuarial team offers a comprehensive range of actuarial support across life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We regularly collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance as well as with various service lines, including Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation on large-scale projects. In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team and will have responsibilities to lead projects or workstreams, delivering reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Develop and coach the actuarial team for life insurance.
• Lead business development activities for the actuarial team in life and health insurance.
• Deliver projects alongside other actuaries or within a multidisciplinary team, taking responsibility for designated workstreams or projects.

What to Expect

• Directly lead a variety of client projects, including actuarial transformation projects, M&A transactions, audits, or valuations.
• Manage the project lifecycle from proposals to delivery and invoicing.
• Identify business ideas and opportunities, generating new business with internal and external clients.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and training to performance reviews and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• A University degree (ETH or comparable) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• Qualification as an actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
• Experience in an actuarial position, preferably within Consulting in the Swiss market.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a genuine willingness to learn and make a difference, and enjoy working with diverse teams.
• Confident communication skills in German and English with stakeholders at all levels – proficiency in German/Swiss German is essential.
• Demonstrated business development experience.
• Affinity with technology, including actuarial modeling tools, AI platforms, and data platforms.
