What You Will Do:
- Take proprietary trading positions in carbon certificates or related commodities/products.
- Collaborate closely with analysts, fostering knowledge transfer and enhancing in-house models for fundamental market forecasting.
- Stay informed about regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure compliance while driving innovation in carbon trading practices.
- Provide market access to other desks for hedging purposes.
- Engage in discussions and share insights with other related trading desks, including power, gas, and petroleum.
What You Bring & Who You Are:
- Master’s or PhD in business or natural sciences.
- Several years of experience in trading EUAs and/or UKAs within a trading house, fund, or utility.
- A proven track record of strong PnL performance.
- Willing and able to work in an international context.
- Excellent communication skills with a fundamental trading approach.
