Join Our Team as a Service Proposal Manager

As one of the world’s leading players in the power generation sector, Ansaldo Energia is a fully integrated operator capable of building turnkey power plants on greenfield sites. We utilize our proprietary technology along with our independent design, production, construction, commissioning, and service resources.

We are currently seeking to strengthen our team in Switzerland (Baden) with your expertise and experience as a Service Proposal Manager. In this role, your primary focus will be to develop and support the sales of service contracts for both existing and future gas turbine and combined cycle customers worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the tendering activities for competitive offers for all types of service contracts, including long-term maintenance agreements, frame agreements, and upgrades.
  • Support the development and alignment of the offer strategy, addressing market and customer considerations in collaboration with other stakeholders, including new equipment business units and partners within the global Ansaldo network.
  • Ensure all offers comply with Ansaldo guidelines and co-lead the review process.
  • Support contract negotiations and closures with customers.
  • Contribute to the structured and effective development of market and competitive intelligence.
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement and maintenance of our processes and tools landscape.

Your Profile

  • A degree in mechanical engineering and/or business studies with a solid technical understanding.
  • Experience in the industrial sector, preferably within the power industry, with a well-documented track record.
  • Experience in international tendering or sales is advantageous.
  • An open-minded individual who is willing to learn and possesses endurance through the offer and sales cycle.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel globally, including short-notice travel (approximately 10% of the time).
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • A strong commitment to delivering on time and within budget.
  • Excellent command of English, German, and French; knowledge of other languages is beneficial, and proficiency in Italian is a plus.
