This is not a build-from-scratch mandate; the necessary infrastructure is already in place. The bank is looking for a relationship manager who possesses strong, personal connections with Brazilian high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients and can demonstrate real portability of these relationships.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• A substantial background in private banking, specifically managing Brazilian families and entrepreneurs.
• A deep understanding of the unique aspects of Brazilian offshore wealth.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the compliance and reporting framework pertinent to this market.
• Genuine portability of client relationships, meaning clients who are likely to follow them rather than those managed within a shared team context.
