We're seeking a dynamic Senior Delivery Manager to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland, in a hybrid working environment. This role is pivotal in driving end-to-end delivery for our key insurance clients, collaborating closely with account management and business development to ensure the successful execution of complex engagements.

This position blends delivery management responsibilities with AI-first leadership, utilizing advanced tools to optimize Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and deliver measurable business value in a regulated industry. As a trusted advisor in the Insurance sector, you will guide clients towards practical AI adoption while ensuring robust governance and compliance across all engagements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle delivery for client projects/programs while ensuring compliance with internal processes and governance standards.
• Manage client relationships at multiple levels, defining expectations and proactively mitigating delivery risks.
• Promote AI-driven delivery enablement within teams to enhance SDLC efficiency and overall productivity.
• Identify, scope, and structure high-value AI use cases in Insurance (e.g., claims processing, underwriting, policy administration) and develop adoption roadmaps.
• Translate AI capabilities (Generative AI, agentic frameworks, LLM integration) into clear delivery outcomes, adjusting estimation models and team structures as necessary.
• Lead multiple concurrent workstreams across business and technical teams, ensuring timely escalation and risk management.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, product owners, and QA teams to develop realistic project estimations and delivery plans.
• Support business development by preparing proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), representing delivery leadership during pre-sales and contracting phases.
• Contribute to the growth of domain expertise through sharing best practices internally and with clients while maintaining continuous professional development.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in consulting or IT service delivery management, with at least 3 years in the Insurance domain.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects and managing senior client stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience applying AI tools (LLM APIs, coding assistants, agentic AI frameworks) in real delivery work.
• Strong ability to identify and quantify AI use cases while navigating risk, compliance, and data governance in Insurance contexts.
• In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Agile delivery, and practical project delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with software architecture principles and IT Service Management processes.
• Experience leading distributed teams across various geographies.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, complemented by strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Fluency in English and either German or French.
