A prestigious bank based in Switzerland is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to enhance its well-established Italian client franchise. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to choose between Zurich, Geneva, or Lugano, depending on their personal preference and the team structure of the bank.

About the Role

This mandate is not a greenfield opportunity; the necessary infrastructure, booking center, and product access are already well-established. The bank seeks an experienced banker who possesses a proven track record of managing Italian High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) relationships. The ideal candidate will be able to deepen and develop existing client relationships while selectively introducing their own portfolio.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Significant experience in private banking with a focus on Italian clients within a Swiss framework.
• In-depth understanding of the cross-border regulatory environment on both the Swiss and Italian sides.
• Expertise in succession planning, real estate structuring, and multi-generational family wealth management.
• Strong personal relationships held in the candidate's name, rather than through a team structure.
• A minimum threshold of a three-year average portable book valued at CHF 200M with Italian clients.

Location Specifics

Lugano is particularly advantageous for candidates with strong connections to the Northern Italian corridor. In contrast, Geneva and Zurich are ideal for those managing a broader offshore client base among Italian UHNW individuals.
