Your Mission
Climeworks Solutions is at the forefront of high-quality carbon removal offerings. Our customer base includes over 200 multinational companies, which represent more than 50% of the Forbes Global 2000 companies engaged in carbon dioxide removal (CDR). As the demand for high-quality CDR is projected to grow exponentially in the coming decades, Climeworks Solutions aims to play a pivotal role in scaling this emerging market and influencing its future.
Your role as a Senior Partnership Development Manager will focus on expanding our business in Europe and North America across various industries. You will develop a clear understanding of market dynamics, formulate the value proposition, and create dedicated business cases while crafting a go-to-market strategy for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Development: Build your pipeline by identifying and prioritizing promising accounts, fostering connections with key stakeholders, and developing productive relationships across all levels of seniority.
- Climate Strategy & CDR Advisory: Lead the advisory process, thoroughly analyzing customer needs and climate strategies. Guide clients on their net-zero journey, create business cases for CDR, and design customized proposals with the assistance of cross-functional experts.
- Business Development & Industry Engagement: Represent Climeworks Solutions at leading conferences and industry events, initiate communication campaigns, and utilize networking to uncover new opportunities.
- Partnerships & Alliance Management: Maintain and cultivate relationships with industry alliances and associations to support commercial success.
- Commercial Negotiation Leadership: Drive the negotiation process, coordinating the expertise required from various departments and specialists.
- Customer Success & Portfolio Management: Oversee successful account management, ensuring the delivery of carbon dioxide removal credits and providing relevant market insights to customers.

- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Climate, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: A strong track record in business development in new markets with at least 8 years of experience in commercial roles with B2B accounts. Experience in environments requiring an entrepreneurial mindset and a builder’s attitude is essential.
- Skills & Strengths: Demonstrated leadership skills focusing on trust-building with customers, effective networking, analytical capabilities, and strategic acumen. Adaptability in agile environments and strong project management skills are crucial.
- Language & Communication: Excellent English skills (C2) with the ability to communicate engagingly and clearly, including public speaking and crafting structured narratives.
