Your Mission

As a Senior Partnership Development Manager at Climeworks Solutions, your primary objective will be to expand our business across Europe and North America, serving various industries. You will develop a deep understanding of the market, build compelling value propositions, and create dedicated business cases that set the foundation for our go-to-market strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Development: Build your own pipeline by identifying promising accounts, connecting with key stakeholders, and cultivating relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Climate Strategy & CDR Advisory: Lead the process of understanding customer needs and climate strategies. Advise on their net-zero journey and tailor proposals for carbon dioxide removal (CDR) portfolios alongside a cross-functional expert team.
  • Business Development & Industry Engagement: Represent Climeworks Solutions at industry conferences and events, initiate communication campaigns, and leverage both Climeworks’ network and your own to develop new opportunities.
  • Partnerships & Alliance Management: Establish and maintain relationships with industry associations that enhance our commercial success.
  • Commercial Negotiation Leadership: Lead negotiation phases, ensuring the collaboration of all relevant departments and specialists.
  • Customer Success & Portfolio Management: Manage accounts to ensure customer success, supervising the delivery of carbon dioxide removal credits and providing market insights to clients.

Your Story

Requirements

  • What Drives You: You are eager to build a new industry with immense market potential and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Climate, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in commercial roles with B2B accounts, demonstrating a strong track record in developing businesses in fast-evolving markets.
  • Skills & Strengths: Exemplary leadership skills, strong networking ability, strategic thinking, and robust project management abilities.
  • Language & Communication: Excellent English proficiency (C2), with strong public speaking skills and the ability to craft clear and engaging narratives.
