Our Actuarial team offers a comprehensive range of actuarial support across life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We frequently collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance and various service lines such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, as well as Technology & Transformation on large-scale projects. In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from the outset, taking on responsibilities that include leading projects or workstreams and delivering reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Develop and mentor the actuarial team specializing in life insurance.
• Lead business development initiatives for the actuarial team in life and health insurance.
• Collaborate with other actuaries or multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects and take responsibility for workstreams or projects.

What to Expect

• Directly manage a variety of client projects, such as actuarial transformation projects, M&A transactions, audits, or valuations.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of projects, from proposals and contracting to delivery and invoicing.
• Business development: identify business ideas and opportunities while generating new business with internal and external clients.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, training, performance reviews, and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• You hold a university degree (ETH or equivalent) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• You are a qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or possess equivalent qualifications.
• You have relevant experience in an actuarial position, preferably in consulting within the Swiss market.
• You demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills along with a genuine eagerness to learn and make a difference. You thrive in diverse teams.
• You communicate confidently in both German and English with stakeholders across various levels—German/Swiss German is essential.
• You possess proven business development experience.
• You have an affinity for technology, including actuarial modeling tools, AI platforms, and data platforms.
