Position: Robotics Machine Learning Intern

As a Robotics Machine Learning Intern, you will play a crucial role in the development and design of our future robotic systems. Your contributions will shape the quality and features of our algorithms. With your innovative mindset and project experience, you will introduce fresh ideas and novel approaches to the evolution of underwater robotic systems. Your background in robotic software will position you as a key player in enhancing and advancing robotic functionalities, working closely with our R&D team to turn pioneering concepts into reality.

Your Contribution

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing higher-level algorithms based on existing networks using sonar imaging.
  • Testing, analyzing, and proposing improvements to the networks and implementing them.
  • Preparing pioneering algorithms for sonar perception for deployment and conducting tests.

Qualifications

To excel in this role as an ML-focused robotics engineer, you should possess:

  • A master’s degree in data science, computer science, robotics, electrical, or software engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in various robotic disciplines: Machine Learning, Perception, Localization.
  • A collaborative spirit, thriving as a team player in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • The ability to work independently while delivering high-quality results.
  • A pragmatic work attitude, capable of making practical, solution-oriented decisions.
  • A minimum internship period of 6 months is required.

Bonus Points

Applicants with the following qualifications or experience will receive bonus points:

  • A comprehensive background in setting up software, operating systems, version control (e.g., GitHub), and designing robust project architectures.
  • Proof of holistic project management experience will be regarded as a significant asset.
