Position Overview

To enhance the visibility of ETH Zurich Space and maintain effective communication across our channels, we are seeking a Marketing and Social Media Support professional. The ideal start date is at the beginning of September or immediately thereafter.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect content for newsletters, preparing and formatting it for publication.
• Create engaging space-related content for ETH Zurich Space’s social media channels.
• Regularly maintain and update the ETH Zurich Space website to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Develop a solid understanding of the ETH Zurich Space ecosystem while staying informed about current activities, news, and opportunities.
• Prepare content from various sources (researchers, partners, events, missions) for use across different media formats.
• Support with additional tasks as needed, including PPT presentations, creating brochures and print materials, sourcing merchandise, producing videos and podcasts, and planning events.

Position Details

This role encompasses 20-40% of your working time and offers flexible working hours. We envision a longer-term employment horizon of two years or more.

Qualifications

• In-depth interest and understanding of space, along with a relevant educational background.
• Familiarity with the ETH Zurich (Space) environment and a willingness to explore it.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; German is an asset.
• Ability to transform complex topics into clear, engaging, and accessible content.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of digital communication channels.
