The Business Unit Robotics focuses on developing, producing, and distributing pipetting robots that automate liquid handling processes for a diverse range of customers across the pharmaceutical, food industry, and cell and DNA research sectors.

Your Impact

As part of our Research and Development team, you will:

  • Develop safety concepts for our projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards for our developed products.
  • Plan and conduct product safety tests within the project team, including environmental simulations, safety tests, EMC tests, transport tests, and biological safety tests.
  • Manage product approvals according to EU directives and international standards (e.g., CSA, UL, IVDR, GxP, Machine Directive).
  • Collaborate with our Reno (USA) office concerning global product approvals like CSA, FDA, and UL.
  • Train employees on regulatory compliance.

In the Sustaining area, you will:

  • Ensure all standard devices meet current norms.
  • Oversee re-evaluations during product changes or updates in standards.

In the Customized Solutions area, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring safety standard compliance for customized solutions.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • A completed degree in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical field (University/Technical Institute).
  • Experience in quality management and quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IVDR 2017/746; GxP, FDA) and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of machine, low-voltage, and EMC directives.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, effective communication, teamwork, and a solution-oriented approach.
  • A precise, quality-focused, and independent working style.
  • Excellent organizational skills, conflict resolution capabilities, and assertiveness, even in challenging projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills in an international environment.
  • Proficiency in German and English (C1 level).
