The Robotics Business Unit designs, produces, and distributes pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes across industries such as pharmaceuticals, food production, and cell or DNA research.
Your Impact
- Manage the assigned product portfolio from a technical perspective.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across different organizations to enhance the technical aspects and conformity of the assigned product portfolio.
- Serve as the technical lead for design control, construction materials, product functionalities, and required extensions/modifications to meet customer requirements in coordination with the R&D PD organization.
- Maintain regular interaction with product management, manufacturing, supply chain, service organization, and quality functions.
- Coordinate change projects with interfaces to our suppliers and internal customers.
- Ensure transparent and accountable customer-centric technical product management.
- Support products with maintenance, error analysis, and troubleshooting for existing automation solutions.
- Analyze errors and troubleshoot in case of issues in product and production, and work out effective solutions.
- Participate in the continuous improvement process regarding design optimization.
- Coordinate customer complaints, including root cause analysis and reporting.
- Analyze, optimize, and document product production processes.
- Support in the analysis of defective parts, including the derivation of necessary steps and improvements.
- Implement product changes and ensure proper documentation.
- Test and introduce new products.
- Provide technical support for products throughout their life cycle.
- Write CAPA reports in English.
- Maintain testing procedures in production.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (System, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or similar).
- Technical Skills:
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Error analysis and troubleshooting.
- Programming knowledge (Python or similar).
- Product testing and validation.
- Documentation and technical report writing.
- Knowledge of materials and components.
- Understanding of automation systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Structured problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken), with the ability to write technical documentation and CAPA reports in English.
