Position: Project Manager Outage (PMO)
Strengthen our team in Switzerland (Baden) with your expertise and experience by taking on the role of Project Manager Outage. This position is crucial for ensuring professional and reliable outage and inspection management within our Service Business, leveraging your knowledge and passion for our GT26 and GT36 gas turbines.
Your Tasks
- Lead international overhaul and inspection projects for combined cycle power plants.
- Ensure best-in-class results during project preparation, execution, and closure phases.
- Take responsibility for dedicated project control encompassing time, cost, and quality.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Environmental Health & Safety, Quality, and scheduling requirements.
- Set tasks and priorities, including deadlines, for the team.
- Monitor project execution performance and review targets for time, cost, and quality.
- Ensure the closing of feedback loops after inspections and overhauls.
- Optimize the deployment of assigned resources.
- Collaborate closely with other Ansaldo departments, local Services Centers, field service personnel, suppliers, and clients.
Your Profile
- Degree in engineering with a relevant educational or professional background in the power plant sector, particularly with GT power plants.
- A minimum of three years of experience in construction, commissioning, or service of Combined Cycle power plants.
- Strong management skills in planning and budgeting.
- Knowledge of gas turbines and combined cycle power plants.
- Customer service-oriented with excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- A motivating, reliable, and goal-oriented team leader with proactive conflict management abilities.
- Flexible and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to travel worldwide as required (up to 10% of the time).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in German is an advantage, with additional knowledge of Italian and French being beneficial.
