As one of the world’s leading players in the power generation sector, Ansaldo Energia is a fully integrated operator with the capabilities to build turnkey power plants on greenfield sites. Our company leverages its own technology, independent design, and resources in production, construction, commissioning, and service.

We are seeking to strengthen our team in Baden, Switzerland, with your expertise and experience as a Sales Manager in New Units Sales. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, offering, and negotiation of power plant projects on a global basis.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead sales projects internationally from pre-acquisition through acquisition, tendering, negotiation, and handover to execution.
• Develop customized solutions with the support of our tender and engineering organization for large-scale gas turbine-based power projects.
• Represent Ansaldo Energia and drive sales projects with our customers through internal processes.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in engineering or business administration, with several years of experience in offering and selling large, complex products or solutions.
• Extensive experience in commercial and technical negotiations for large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of power plant technology, including main products such as gas turbines and steam turbines, as well as cost parameters for power projects.
• Understanding of current drivers in the power industry and related projects.
• Reliable, creative, flexible, and an enthusiastic team player.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and in challenging situations.
• Willingness to travel.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in German is a plus, while knowledge of Italian and other languages would be an asset.
