Salary: €4,000–€5,000 gross per month | Bonus of up to 8% | Full-time

Do you have experience in a production environment and enjoy leading a team while closely managing daily operations? Our client, an international technology company specializing in advanced manufacturing and high-quality materials, is seeking a practical and engaged Production Supervisor for its production site in the Utrecht region.

As a Production Supervisor, you will lead a production team and ensure that daily operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality standards. You will work within a facility comprising four specialized production departments, where you will allocate tasks, support your team through daily challenges, and actively contribute to improving production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and motivate a production team.
• Coordinate daily production activities and establish clear priorities.
• Maintain a visible and approachable presence on the production floor.
• Resolve day-to-day operational and employee-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Support and develop employees through feedback, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality and R&D departments to identify issues and enhance processes.
• Contribute to a positive, safe, and results-driven working environment.
• Recommend improvements related to efficiency, quality, and delivery reliability.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and possess a professional command of English.
• Experience within a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Experience supervising, coordinating, or leading employees.
• A practical, hands-on approach and comfort on the production floor.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to engage and motivate employees positively.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• An approachable, solution-oriented, and supportive leadership style.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, quality procedures, MDR, or another regulated manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
• A background in mechanical engineering, production engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering, or related disciplines would be beneficial.

Location

The position is based in the Utrecht region and requires on-site work five days a week. As the Production Supervisor, you will be present on the production floor daily and readily available to support your team. Remote working is therefore not possible for this position.
