Job Opportunity: Machine Technician
We are seeking a skilled Machine Technician for one of our clients, a distinguished Swiss industrial company specializing in the manufacture of high-precision technical components. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment focused on wire electrical discharge machining and micro waterjet cutting.
Your Responsibilities
- Program and configure wire EDM and micro waterjet cutting equipment.
- Prepare machines, tooling, and materials required for production.
- Define and optimize cutting parameters and operating conditions.
- Launch production runs and monitor the manufacturing process.
- Produce complex, high-precision mechanical components.
- Inspect the dimensional and qualitative conformity of manufactured parts.
- Analyze production deviations or technical issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of programs, methods, and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure that equipment is used correctly and participate in routine maintenance activities.
- Collaborate closely with production, process engineering, and quality teams.
Your Profile
- Higher technical diploma in mechanics, micromechanics, manufacturing engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in programming and operating high-precision cutting machines.
- Strong knowledge or practical experience in wire electrical discharge machining.
- Experience in waterjet or micro waterjet cutting is a significant advantage.
- Good understanding of technical drawings, tolerances, and dimensional requirements.
- Ability to analyze and optimize manufacturing conditions.
- Independent, accurate, and responsible working style.
- Proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and able to adapt to varied production requirements.
- Previous experience in a micromechanical, watchmaking, or precision industrial environment is appreciated.
