Job Opportunity: Planning & Fulfillment Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Planning & Fulfillment Specialist to contribute to pre-project activities and operational process development within our global SAP S/4HANA transformation. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of our future planning processes, focusing on planning-relevant master data, capacity planning, and continuous improvement of operational Planning & Fulfillment processes. You will support process owners and project leaders by providing structured analyses, clear documentation, and well-prepared inputs for the SAP S/4HANA program.

This position is well-suited for a professional with hands-on experience in planning or supply chain operations, looking to expand their expertise in a global transformation environment. You will be based at our global headquarters in Baden, Switzerland, reporting directly to the Head of Value Chain Planning & Fulfillment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Contribute to SAP S/4HANA pre-projects, engaging in preparatory activities such as process analysis, requirement clarification, data assessments, and concept preparation within the realm of Planning & Fulfillment.
  • Analyze and improve planning-relevant master data, ensuring effective governance of data used for planning and capacity management (e.g., materials, BOMs, routings, capacities) in collaboration with business and system stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of Planning & Fulfillment processes by documenting, analyzing, and refining operational planning and fulfillment procedures with process owners.
  • Support capacity planning topics through analyses and conceptual work related to planning horizons and bottleneck transparency.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, guidelines, training materials, and SharePoint content to enable standardization, scalability, and knowledge transfer.
  • Act as a cross-functional interface by collaborating closely with Planning, Operations, Procurement, and IT to ensure alignment between divisional business requirements and system-related solutions.

Your Background

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in planning, supply chain, operations, or process improvement within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Solid hands-on experience with SAP-based processes (SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA required), ideally in planning-related environments.
  • Strong understanding of planning processes and master data's role as a key enabler for operational and tactical steering.
  • Hands-on experience in project work or sub-projects (e.g., process harmonization, system rollouts, transformation initiatives).
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, taking shared responsibility for results and deliverables.
  • Highly structured and analytical working style, capable of breaking down complex topics into clear, actionable work packages.
  • Strong sense of process quality, collaboration, and end-to-end thinking across functions.
  • Fluent in both English and German.

Your Benefits

  • Attractive compensation & benefits.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Global parental leave program.
  • Flexible working models.
