Position Overview

This role offers a global scope, with production sites in Switzerland and China. Reporting to the Head of IS Production & Value Chain in Switzerland, you will collaborate with a skilled IT team to define, govern, and continuously improve Accelleron’s enterprise data migration capabilities across business applications and strategic transformation programs.

The selected candidate will serve as the IS Workstream Lead for Data Migration within Program Phoenix, our SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative. You will establish long-term competencies and standards for future transformation initiatives while taking end-to-end ownership of data migration governance, planning, execution oversight, cutover readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving data extraction, cleansing, validation, and migration activities across all business domains, ensuring data quality, compliance, and business continuity throughout the transformation process.
• Serving as the central coordination point between business stakeholders, process owners, IT teams, implementation partners, and external vendors to ensure transparency and readiness for successful deployment into the new SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Shaping and managing the long-term perspective of data lifecycle management at Accelleron, including operational Run topics outside of Phoenix, such as archiving strategies and continuous data updates.

Your Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and govern the overall data migration strategy for Program Phoenix and future business transformation initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution oversight of data migration activities across all business workstreams and deployment waves.
• Establish and govern migration methodologies, templates, quality gates, reconciliation procedures, and readiness criteria.
• Drive data extraction, profiling, cleansing, enrichment, validation, and migration activities in close collaboration with business and technical teams.
• Define and oversee mock loads, migration testing cycles, dress rehearsals, and production migration activities.
• Coordinate data ownership and accountability across business process owners, subject matter experts, and implementation partners.
• Proactively identify, track, and resolve migration risks, dependencies, quality issues, and data compliance concerns.
• Define and execute the integrated cutover plan together with business, IT, and implementation partners.
• Lead cutover execution and deployment readiness activities to ensure a controlled and reliable transition to SAP S/4HANA.
• Govern hypercare activities post-go-live and coordinate issue resolution, stabilization, and business continuity measures.
• Establish executive-level reporting, dashboards, and decision support artifacts for program leadership and Steering Committees.
• Build and continuously improve Accelleron’s long-term data migration capabilities, standards, templates, and best practices for future programs.
• Define and manage long-term data lifecycle and Run responsibilities beyond Phoenix, including archiving concepts and the provision of current test data.

Your Background & Skills

• 5+ years of experience leading data migration initiatives within large-scale ERP or digital transformation programs.
• Proven experience in SAP transformations, preferably SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong knowledge of data migration methodologies, governance frameworks, migration tooling, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience managing complex data migration lifecycles including extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and cutover execution.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate stakeholders across multiple functions and countries.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and master data domains.
• Experience with data migration tools and platforms such as SAP Data Migration Cockpit or comparable solutions.
• Strong project management, planning, and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
• Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written); proficiency in German is an advantage.
