We are seeking a Planning & Fulfillment Specialist (m/f/d) to be a key contributor to our global SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role will focus on pre-project activities and the operational development of processes in the area of Planning & Fulfillment.
In this position, you will lay the groundwork for future planning processes, emphasizing planning-relevant master data, capacity planning, and the ongoing enhancement of operational P&F processes. You will assist process owners and project leads by providing structured analyses, creating clear documentation, and preparing well-informed inputs for the SAP S/4HANA program.
This role is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in planning or supply chain operations who seeks to advance their expertise within a global transformation setting.
You will be based at our global headquarters in Baden, Switzerland, and report to the Head of Value Chain Planning & Fulfillment.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to SAP S/4HANA pre-projects: Actively participate in preparatory activities such as process analysis, requirement clarification, data assessments, and concept preparation in the context of Planning & Fulfillment.
- Work on planning-relevant master data: Analyze and improve master data used for planning and capacity management (e.g., materials, BOMs, routings, capacities) in collaboration with business and system stakeholders.
- Drive the development of P&F processes: Collaborate with process owners to document, analyze, and enhance operational planning and fulfillment processes.
- Contribute to capacity planning topics: Support analyses and conceptual work related to capacity planning, planning horizons, and bottleneck transparency.
- Ensure transparency and documentation: Create and maintain process documentation, guidelines, training materials, and SharePoint content to enable standardization, scalability, and knowledge transfer.
- Act as a cross-functional interface: Work closely with Planning, Operations, Procurement, and IT to ensure alignment between divisional business requirements and system-related solutions.
Your Background
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in planning, supply chain, operations, or process improvement within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Solid hands-on experience with SAP-based processes (SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA required), ideally in planning-related contexts.
- Strong understanding of planning processes and the critical role of master data as an enabler for operational and tactical steering.
- Experience in project work or sub-projects (e.g., process harmonization, system rollouts, transformation initiatives).
- Able to work effectively in cross-functional teams and share responsibility for results and deliverables.
- Highly structured and analytical working style, capable of breaking down complex topics into clear and actionable work packages.
- Strong sense of process quality, collaboration, and end-to-end thinking across functions.
- Fluent in English and German.
Your Benefits
- Attractive compensation and benefits package.
- Employee Assistance Program.
- Global parental leave program.
- Flexible working models.
