Job Description
Are you passionate about enhancing manufacturing and logistics performance through structured analysis and practical Industrial Engineering solutions? As a Senior OpEx Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across our manufacturing and logistics systems.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing and optimizing end-to-end value streams and automated production processes.
- Identifying bottlenecks and improvement opportunities utilizing operational data and structured process analysis.
- Enhancing productivity, OEE, capacity utilization, lead times, inventory, and overall process stability.
- Developing innovative production and logistics concepts, including layouts, capacity models, and material supply strategies.
- Leading Value Stream Mapping and Lean initiatives alongside operational teams.
- Acting as the Industrial Engineering and OpEx expert in factory investment projects, focusing on the design and dimensioning of automated manufacturing cells.
- Translating operational requirements into robust process and technical concepts, guiding them from initial assessment to implementation and stabilization.
- Establishing standards, methods, and best practices for Operational Excellence and Industrial Engineering.
- Coaching stakeholders and project teams on Lean and Industrial Engineering methodologies.
Your Background
- 5+ years of experience in OpEx, Lean Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- University Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- In-depth expertise in production and logistics processes, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Hands-on experience with process optimization methodologies, bottleneck analysis, simulations, and value stream design.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, external partners, budgets, timelines, and project risks.
- Structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented working style with strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
