Job Opportunity: Senior Project Manager – Operations and Value Chain

Are you an experienced project leader with a passion for developing and optimizing manufacturing and logistics sites? As a Senior Project Manager in Operations and Value Chain, you will lead strategic site development initiatives throughout our manufacturing and logistics footprint, focusing primarily on projects in Switzerland. You will manage complex projects from strategic conception through hands-on execution, including site expansions, relocations, and operational improvement initiatives.

In this role, you will work closely with operations, logistics, engineering, infrastructure, and business leaders to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, support strategic investment decisions, and ensure alignment with long-term business objectives. With your structured, pragmatic, and execution-oriented approach, you will deliver measurable improvements that enhance efficiency, competitiveness, and the future readiness of our operations.

You will be part of the Supply & Value Chain Excellence organization in Baden, reporting to the Team Lead for Value Chain Investments, while collaborating with experts and senior stakeholders across our global manufacturing network to influence the future of our operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic site development projects across manufacturing and logistics.
  • Manage complex cross-functional projects involving operations, logistics, engineering, and infrastructure.
  • Drive projects end-to-end, from strategic concept through hands-on execution.
  • Lead high-priority operational improvement and site-related initiatives from concept to implementation.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support investment decisions through scenario evaluations, business cases, and strategic assessments.
  • Lead unplanned or high-impact special projects requiring senior project management expertise.
  • Act as a trusted partner for internal stakeholders, facilitating close collaboration between production, logistics, engineering, supply chain, and site management.

Your Background

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects from concept through execution within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in site development projects within manufacturing and logistics environments.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • High level of initiative, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset along with strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
