NANNY – EXPERIENCED GOVERNESS

THE FAMILY
A private family residing in Choulex is seeking an experienced nanny-governess who speaks English, German, Spanish, or Mandarin. The ideal candidate will be educated, reliable, and highly responsible, ready to assist with their two young children, aged 2 years and 9 months and 16 months, on a daily basis.
The family prioritizes a trustworthy individual with exceptional common sense, capable of integrating seamlessly into their lives while providing the children with affectionate, structured, stimulating, and secure support.
YOUR MISSIONS
- Provide day-to-day care for the children, including games, outings, educational activities, and support for their development.
- Establish genuine interactions with the children, gradually fostering knowledge, autonomy, curiosity, and good habits.
- Prepare snacks and meals for the children and, occasionally, simple meals for the family.
- Pick up a child from school or make short trips if necessary.
- Constantly ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of the children.
- Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in everyday situations and emergencies.
- Contribute to a smooth and harmonious family environment.
- Eventually assist the children with their learning and homework.
DESIRED PROFILE – ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Proven experience as a nanny, governess, or in a similar role with young children.
- Strong educational background and genuine ability to teach, explain, stimulate, and engage with children.
- Fluency in English, German, Spanish, or Mandarin is required.
- Current pediatric first aid training is essential.
- Excellent reflexes, sense of responsibility, and ability to respond calmly and judiciously in emergencies.
- Autonomous, proactive, organized, and reliable, with excellent common sense.
- Ability to commit long-term and become a trusted figure for the family.
- Driving license is a plus, but not essential.
SCHEDULE & ORGANIZATION
- Main need from Monday to Friday: approximately 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
- Occasional flexibility in the evening according to the family's needs.
- Availability on weekends may be required, particularly for a half-day.
- Potentially greater need on Wednesday afternoons.
- No additional hours are necessarily expected during school holidays.
- The family seeks some flexibility to occasionally adjust the schedule.
CONDITIONS
- Location: Choulex, Geneva.
- Start date: as soon as possible.
- Rate: part-time, with a primary volume of about 15 hours per week and occasional additional hours.
- Compensation: based on experience and profile. The family is prepared to offer attractive compensation to a particularly qualified and dedicated individual.
