BeeBoo is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and positive Rota Nanny for a private family located in Cologny, Geneva. This is an opportunity for someone who is interested in a long-term commitment to caring for three children aged 3, 6, and 9 years.

This full-time position operates on a 14 days ON / 14 days OFF schedule, in collaboration with a second Rota Nanny, as well as the existing team within the family.

The family seeks a warm, energetic early childhood professional who is attentive and comfortable within the dynamic environment of a private family. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for the children while respecting their individual developmental needs and pace.

ROTA ORGANIZATION

The position follows a rhythm of two weeks of work followed by two weeks of rest. On working weeks, the typical day commences around 7:15 AM and concludes around 7:30 PM, with scheduled breaks throughout the day – particularly while the children are in school.

During school hours, the Nanny may also use this time to attend to children-related tasks and errands. Flexibility for occasional evening babysitting may be required when the parents go out, although overnight stays are not part of the usual organization.

Very rare adaptations to the 14/14 rhythm may occur based on family needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES TOWARDS THE CHILDREN

The Nanny's primary focus will be the well-being, safety, health, and development of the three children. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing attentive presence and comprehensive care for the children during the rotation;
• Supporting daily routines: waking up, dressing, hygiene, meals, activities, and bedtime;
• Organizing stimulating, age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors;
• Fostering emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development;
• Encouraging creativity, autonomy, and self-confidence;
• Accompanying and organizing outings, parks, extracurricular activities, playgroups, libraries, and other suitable activities;
• Assisting with homework and school learning;
• Identifying difficulties and providing positive support;
• Maintaining regular communication with parents regarding daily activities and the development of the children;
• Collaborating with schools and other caregivers as necessary;
• Caring for the children when ill and administering medication only with parental consent;
• Occasionally babysitting when required;
• Completing errands and tasks directly related to the children.

ENVIRONMENT & ORGANIZATION

The Nanny will work closely with the other Rota Nanny and family team members, encouraging effective communication and respect for the existing organization. The Nanny will help maintain the children's living spaces, ensuring they remain clean, organized, and ready for daily activities.

A private room will be provided during work periods, and it is expected that the Nanny maintains this space in good condition throughout the rotation.

TRAVEL WITH THE FAMILY

The candidate must be willing to travel with the family, primarily during school holidays, with trips typically lasting about two weeks. Some travel periods may slightly exceed the usual 14-day rhythm, with compensatory arrangements made for the additional time.

Wherever possible, the Nanny will be allocated her own space/room during travels. Valid travel documents are essential, and familiarity with an international family setting is preferred.
