Nanny Position – Fixed-Term Contract 15% in Onex

Location: Onex | Start Date: As soon as possible – until June 30, 2027

BeeBoo is assisting a private family in Onex in their search for a dynamic, reliable, and committed nanny to care for their three children aged 8, 9, and 11 after school.

The children are currently quite independent, but the family wishes to find someone who is present and involved, capable of providing a structured and stimulating environment after their school day, including homework, activities, games, outings, and support in their daily organization.

The Position

This is a fixed-term contract at 15%, to be filled as soon as possible and lasting until June 30, 2027, with approximately 6 hours of work per week during school periods.

Planned Schedule:

• Monday: approximately 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: approximately 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

The exact hours can be slightly adjusted and discussed with the family.

Additional hours may also be proposed during certain school holidays, depending on the family's needs and the nanny's availability. These will be organized in advance. Occasional babysitting may also supplement the usual schedule.

Your Role with the Family

After school, you will take over with the three children and ensure that their late afternoon is spent in a pleasant, dynamic, and structured setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking up and accompanying the children after school;
• Taking one of the children to their activities, particularly on Mondays;
• Caring for the other children during this time;
• Providing occasional homework assistance when necessary;
• Suggesting games, outings, and activities suitable for their age;
• Encouraging activities and shared moments rather than screen time;
• Offering light support in daily organization around the children.

A cleaning lady comes in each week, so this is not a housekeeping position. The priority is truly being present with the children, supporting them, and ensuring quality time spent with them.

The Profile We Are Looking For

The family is primarily looking for a dynamic, reliable, and punctual person who is assertive enough to establish boundaries with children of this age while creating a warm and trusting relationship with them.

You enjoy playing, suggesting activities, and taking initiative. You know how to enforce family rules, especially regarding screen time, and encourage the children to engage in other activities.

You are comfortable with school-age children and can assist them with their homework and various activities.

Stability is particularly important for this family; we are looking for someone who genuinely wants to commit for the entire duration of the contract and, ideally, to build a lasting relationship with the family.

It is not essential to have a vehicle. Travel can easily be done by public transport or bicycle, and the family particularly appreciates the idea of being able to bike with the children. A parking space is available if you come by car.
