Master Data Manager

At Roche Switzerland, we bridge the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, with significant research and development functions located in our facilities. Currently, we are seeking a talented individual to join our long-term client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Kaiseraugst, as a Master Data Manager.

Background

The Materials Management Organization is a key component within our site, focusing on production planning, local procurement, materials planning, and master data management. As a Master Data Manager, you will be part of a collaborative community, directly reporting to the Unit Lead Master Data.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Engage in a supply chain-driven make assess release process area, understanding technical connections and interdependencies to effectively coordinate changes and identify the necessary steps for implementation.
  • Develop a master data strategy focused on future readiness, ensuring standardization of systems as well as monitoring and maintaining high-quality master data.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing lead time and enhancing data quality through standardization, automation (e.g., RPA), or improvements in data and processes, including relevant data analytics.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Master Data management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or a regulated environment with GxP experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP master data maintenance processes, including S4 Hana and MDG-M.
  • Experience in identifying, maintaining, and optimizing data and processes, along with related documentation.
  • Fluency in both German and English (minimum C1 level).
  • Ability to make timely decisions based on thorough analysis, demonstrating profound business insight.
  • Goal-oriented team player who thrives in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • A strong customer focus along with effective communication skills, both written and oral, capable of building and maintaining constructive relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and team members.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, analytical thinker with a smart approach to problem-solving.
