Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Global Logistics Manager (m/f/d) for our client, F. Hoffmann–La Roche Ltd., to join their Global Supply Chain Operations & Logistics organization at the Kaiseraugst site. In this pivotal role, you will oversee global logistics operations, ensuring the timely, compliant, and cost-efficient distribution of pharmaceutical products across international markets.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating supply, inventory, and replenishment flows, acting as a key interface between manufacturing sites, affiliates, and external partners. A principal focus of this role is on managing end-to-end distribution processes—from product release to final delivery—while ensuring on-time and in-full performance.

As a proactive leader, you will monitor supply chain performance, resolve operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. You will also collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders, utilizing data-driven insights to support decision-making, optimize logistics processes, and maintain high service levels throughout the network.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time, in-full, and compliant product deliveries.
• Manage international distribution, logistics, and trade operations.
• Monitor stock availability and execute transfer and order-to-cash processes.
• Drive performance monitoring and reporting.
• Manage and resolve operational challenges as they arise.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Optimize transportation and logistics strategies to enhance overall performance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supply chain and/or logistics experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or APICS certification (or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• Solid knowledge of SAP MM/SD transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
• Strategic agility: Ability to link responsibilities with organizational objectives, adapt to changing circumstances, and focus on value-added activities.
• Achieving results: Goal-oriented, persistent, and accountable for meeting commitments, while recognizing the contributions of teammates.
