Position Overview
This position is part of the Essential Products Business (EssCo) within Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH). It is one of the two standalone entities created from ANH, following the divestment to CVC Capital. We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Entity Controller based in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland.
Role Summary
In your role as Legal Entity Controller, you will ensure the execution of finance planning, actuals, closing, reporting, compliance, and financial governance activities for the Swiss Principal Legal Entity. Additionally, you will oversee and provide leadership to Commercial Legal Entity Controllers across EssCo locations globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full financial responsibility for the Swiss Principal Legal Entity, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance, and financial integrity.
- Manage balance sheet responsibilities, reconciliations, and uphold the accuracy and completeness of group and statutory financial statements.
- Ensure that agreed services with Financial Shared Services and external service providers are delivered to the required quality and performance standards.
- Provide guidance on complex accounting matters, including journal entries, provisions, accruals, and period-end closing activities.
- Lead and coordinate the Commercial Legal Entity Controlling function globally, promoting standardization, governance, continuous improvement, and capability development.
- Support the Internal Control Framework and drive timely remediation of control deficiencies and audit findings.
- Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners, Tax, Treasury, Shared Services, external auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure effective financial governance.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Legal Entity Controlling, Accounting, Audit, or Finance leadership roles within multinational organizations.
- Proven leadership experience managing international finance teams and influencing senior stakeholders in complex organizations.
- Strong expertise in IFRS, statutory reporting, internal controls, legal entity governance, and multi-jurisdiction compliance.
- Experience in principal business models, intercompany environments, and finance transformation initiatives, including carve-outs and integrations.
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, Swiss CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and financial systems, along with excellent communication skills in English and German.
