Position: Local Hosting Service Owner (m/f/d)

As a Local Hosting Service Owner, you will be responsible for the reliable, secure, and cost-efficient delivery of local hosting and infrastructure services across Accelleron’s locations in Switzerland. This role requires end-to-end ownership of on-premises hosting environments, including servers, virtualization, storage, and dedicated High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments.

Your Responsibilities:

• Service Ownership & Operations (RUN):
  • Own and continuously improve local hosting services, ensuring stable, secure, and SLA-driven operations for critical environments.
  • Act as technical authority for local hosting platforms, managing capacity planning and infrastructure standards.
  • Manage incidents and operational risks, ensuring compliance with relevant security and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary interface between local factory operations, global Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams, and service providers.
• Lifecycle, Documentation & Governance:
  • Define and maintain lifecycle, capacity, refresh, and modernization roadmaps for hosting services.
  • Maintain comprehensive infrastructure and operational documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and governance.
  • Coordinate budgeting, purchasing, and service reviews with stakeholders.
• Vendor, Contract & Cost Management:
  • Manage service providers, contracts, budgets, and operational costs.
  • Monitor service delivery through SLA/KPI governance and performance reviews.
  • Foster collaboration between local service providers and global IT teams.
• Project & Initiative Contribution (BUILD):
  • Support and lead hosting-related projects from design through to operational handover.
  • Coordinate with various teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
  • Drive automation and operational excellence in the hosting landscape.

Your Background & Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong expertise in on-premises hosting, virtualization, and data center technologies.
• Experience as a Service Owner or managing infrastructure services focused on SLAs and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management practices.
• Proficient in vendor management and budget planning; knowledge of SAP is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English (minimum B2 level).
• High ownership and reliability, with a willingness to support sites across Switzerland.
