The Tumor and Stem Cell Dynamics Lab, headed by Prof. Helmuth Gehart, is seeking a highly motivated laboratory technician to support ongoing research efforts. We are located at the Institute of Molecular Health Sciences within the Department of Biology (D-BIOL) on the ETH Hönggerberg campus, part of the Life Science Campus of ETH Zurich.
The Tumor and Stem Cell Dynamics Lab integrates a diverse range of disciplines and techniques to address critical questions in cancer and stem cell research. Our interdisciplinary team employs organoid technology, microfluidics, patient samples, microscopy, in vivo models, genome engineering, single-cell analysis, and both computational and molecular biology to uncover the complexities of cancer cells and adult stem cells.
We are looking for a highly motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team either immediately or as agreed upon. The primary responsibility will be the culture, maintenance, and characterization of organoids/tumoroids. This includes microscopy, RNA and DNA preparation, histology, drug screening, and flow cytometry. You will have the opportunity to work within an international team of researchers and participate in innovative projects within a highly motivated scientific environment.
