Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts on schedule (PW1100G-JM).
- Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
- Request and execute engine modifications.
- Control executed modifications and configurations on single parts and assemblies.
- Complete assigned work punctually while ensuring quality of work.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma principles (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
- Continuously improve processes aimed at enhancing quality and safety.
- Handle operating equipment in an environmentally conscious manner.
- Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition.
- Timely execution and independent self-assessment of performed orders.
- Document activities according to regulatory standards.
- Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and implement necessary actions on time.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
- Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/part 66.
- Willingness to work in two shifts, with flexibility to work on weekends.
- Ability to independently and responsibly complete assigned tasks with precision.
- Open-minded and dedicated team player with strong communication skills.
- High awareness of safety, quality, and costs.
- Familiarity with MS Office and SAP.
- Knowledge of the English language (level B1); knowledge of German is an advantage.
