Key Responsibilities

  • Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts on schedule (PW1100G-JM).
  • Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
  • Request and execute engine modifications.
  • Control executed modifications and configurations on single parts and assemblies.
  • Complete assigned work punctually while ensuring quality of work.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma principles (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
  • Continuously improve processes aimed at enhancing quality and safety.
  • Handle operating equipment in an environmentally conscious manner.
  • Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition.
  • Timely execution and independent self-assessment of performed orders.
  • Document activities according to regulatory standards.
  • Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and implement necessary actions on time.

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
  • Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/part 66.
  • Willingness to work in two shifts, with flexibility to work on weekends.
  • Ability to independently and responsibly complete assigned tasks with precision.
  • Open-minded and dedicated team player with strong communication skills.
  • High awareness of safety, quality, and costs.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and SAP.
  • Knowledge of the English language (level B1); knowledge of German is an advantage.
