- Guarantee global service reliability, performance, and lifecycle governance.
- Own ABB’s cybersecurity posture, risk governance, and IAM strategy.
- Lead infrastructure, cloud, integration, disaster recovery, and vendor/SLA governance.
Institutional Capability Building
Strengthen internal capabilities across Customer Experience (CX), platforms, SAP, architecture, data, and cybersecurity.
Reduce reliance on external integrators and embed strong service ownership and a deep knowledge base internally.
Financial Governance
- Provide full transparency of IT costs and ensure disciplined investment decision-making.
- Support program benefit realization and manage sustainable post-transformation run costs.
- Position IT investment as a strategic capability versus discretionary spend.
Strategic Business Partnership
Drive IT enablement for M&A integrations and carveouts.
Balance innovation velocity with architectural discipline.
Elevate IT as a strategic partner across the enterprise.
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
- Prior CIO experience in a multinational industrial environment with proven international leadership experience.
- Proven record of leading in decentralized business models across multiple regions and countries.
- Strong business interest and experience.
- Demonstrated cybersecurity governance expertise and operational resilience leadership.
- Experience integrating large transformation programs into business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
