Position: Global Lead Customer Quality (m/f/d)

In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in developing a customer-centric quality strategy across engineering, operations, supply chain, and sales for our High Speed Division. You will be responsible for managing the customer quality performance for Accelleron’s most demanding global OEM clients while ensuring consistent execution and alignment across all relevant functions and manufacturing sites in Switzerland and China.

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Sales, you will provide functional leadership to local customer quality managers in Switzerland, the United States, and China, playing a crucial role in safeguarding customer satisfaction, ensuring contractual compliance, and protecting Accelleron’s reputation globally.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Global Quality Leadership:
    • Serve as the global point of contact to capture customer quality expectations and drive implementation in internal processes.
    • Own overall customer quality performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives globally.
    • Establish transparent KPI monitoring and reporting to customers and senior management.
  • Standards, Methods & Governance:
    • Ensure consistent application of automotive quality tools tailored to specific needs.
    • Provide feedback and support for global standards developed by the dedicated quality function in operations.
  • Customer Issue Management:
    • Implement structured problem-solving processes for customer complaints and non-conformities.
    • Ensure timely, high-quality, and sustainable corrective and preventive actions across all functions.
    • Maintain oversight of NCRs, customer complaints, and systemic quality improvements globally.
  • Change & Risk Management:
    • Govern Change Requests and Process Change Notifications on a global scale.
    • Ensure controlled implementation of changes with full customer alignment.
  • Customer Interface & Audits:
    • Act as the primary contact for all customer quality-related matters.
    • Lead customer audits and ensure successful outcomes through global coordination.
    • Manage escalations and represent the company in critical customer situations.
  • Organization & Leadership:
    • Lead Customer Quality initiatives in Switzerland while providing functional leadership to global teams.
    • Build and develop a strong, globally aligned customer quality organization.
    • Ensure clear deputy structures and drive change management across functions to meet customer expectations.

Your Background:

  • Several years of quality and continuous improvement experience in manufacturing industries in a customer-facing role.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on operational expertise and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with automotive quality methods and tools, including IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D-based problem-solving.
  • Experience in leading distributed global teams, with an appreciation for US and China cultural dynamics and project management.
  • Senior personality with excellent communication and motivational skills, emphasizing stakeholder management.
  • Technical university degree.
  • Fluency in German and English.
