Job Title: German Speaking Customer Service Representative
Location: Guildford, Surrey – Hybrid (2 days per week in the office after training)
Salary: £27,000–£32,000 DOE + Discretionary Annual Bonus
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
We are seeking a motivated German Speaking Customer Service Representative to join an established international business based in Guildford. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who thrives on building relationships, resolving queries, and delivering outstanding service. You will support customers across the UK and Europe while collaborating with a friendly and dynamic team.
The Role
- Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email in German and English.
- Act as a key point of contact for German-speaking and UK customers.
- Resolve customer queries, complaints, and service-related issues professionally.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Maintain accurate customer records using internal systems.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure queries are resolved efficiently.
- Support reporting and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide a consistently high standard of customer service.
About You
- Fluent in German and English is essential.
- Previous experience in customer service, customer support, or client services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
- Comfortable handling customer enquiries over the phone and via email.
- Experience using CRM, ERP, or customer management systems.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience supporting international customers is advantageous.
- Previous experience with technical product enquiries or B2B/B2C customers is beneficial.
