As a Commercial & Business Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in building scalable operations across Climeworks Solutions, including our commercial, project sourcing, and customer success teams. Your task will be to translate business needs into effective processes, tools, analytics, and workflows, allowing us to operate more swiftly, collaborate more effectively, and make data-driven decisions. You will collaborate with your team to design and enhance digital products, including a platform that enables customers to manage and monitor their carbon removal portfolios, fostering greater transparency, accessibility, and impact visibility in the market. This role demands a problem-solver and builder who is passionate about transforming ambiguity into structure and shaping how a rapidly growing organization functions now and in the future.
Education & Experience: You hold a university degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment such as consulting, technology, scale-ups, or startups.
Commercial Operations & Business Analysis: You have a background in business analysis, revenue operations, commercial excellence, product management, or similar roles and can effectively translate business needs into system configurations and practical solutions.
Salesforce & Business Systems: You are experienced in administering Salesforce, including user support and configuration. You are comfortable with solution design, testing, and driving user adoption, with familiarity relating to commercial technology stacks such as marketing automation and ERP systems like SAP. Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus.
Stakeholder Management: You enjoy collaborating with others and are skilled at working with stakeholders across various functions and levels of seniority.
Organization & Execution: You excel at converting ambiguous challenges into actionable work tasks, prioritize effectively, and proactively lead initiatives through implementation.
Mindset & Ownership: You demonstrate strong ownership, business judgment, and drive for continuous improvement, balancing scalability and execution speed in a dynamic environment.
Language: You possess excellent written and spoken English skills.
This position is based in Zurich, with a requirement to work onsite at least three days per week.
