As the demand for high-quality CDR is anticipated to grow exponentially in the coming decades, Climeworks Solutions aims to play a pivotal role in scaling this emerging market and shaping its future.
We blend a holistic approach to carbon removal portfolio design with more than a decade of hands-on expertise in CDR, honed through our pioneering work in Direct Air Capture technology. Our team supports organizations in crafting tailored carbon removal strategies and delivers curated portfolios across both nature-based and engineered solutions, providing comprehensive services to help achieve climate goals.
As a Senior Partnership Development Manager at Climeworks Solutions, your primary mission will be to drive growth across Europe and North America in various industries. You will develop a keen understanding of the market, create compelling value propositions, and establish a robust go-to-market strategy to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Development: Build a pipeline by identifying and prioritizing promising accounts while establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Climate Strategy & CDR Advisory: Analyze customer needs and climate strategy, advising them on their net-zero journey and designing custom proposals for CDR portfolios.
- Business Development & Industry Engagement: Represent Climeworks Solutions at key conferences and industry events, leveraging networks to create new opportunities.
- Partnerships & Alliance Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with industry alliances and associations that contribute to commercial success.
- Commercial Negotiation Leadership: Lead negotiation processes and coordinate contributions from necessary departments and specialists.
- Customer Success & Portfolio Management: Oversee successful account management and ensure the delivery of carbon dioxide removal credits while providing market insights to customers.
Your Story
Requirements
- What Drives You: You are excited by the opportunity to build a new, climate-relevant industry with trillion-dollar market potential, and you thrive in environments where you can be an entrepreneurial leader.
- Educational Background: You hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Climate, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: You possess over 8 years of experience in commercial roles with B2B accounts and have a proven track record in new market development.
- Skills & Strengths: You are an inspiring leader, proficient in networking and presenting strategies. You excel in agile environments and have strong project management abilities.
- Language & Communication: You have excellent English language skills (C2) and are comfortable with public speaking and crafting engaging narratives.

Formalities
This position is based in Opfikon, Zurich, with a requirement to work onsite at least three days per week. Flexible working arrangements are available, allowing you to choose full-time or part-time based on your needs.
