Key Responsibility Areas
- Develop and implement category strategies and manage assigned procurement categories throughout their entire strategic lifecycle.
- Leverage spend, market, supplier, and demand analytics to identify savings opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive evidence-based procurement decisions.
- Design, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards, benchmarks, and business cases to support informed decision-making.
- Drive product standardization, portfolio optimization, and data harmonization initiatives to increase efficiency and unlock synergies across the organization.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders across Procurement, Hospitals, Supply Chain Management, and Business Functions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Your Profile
- A university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline, ideally complemented by professional certifications in Strategic Procurement or Category Management.
- At least five years of experience in Category Management, ideally within healthcare or another complex and regulated environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities with proven expertise in spend analytics, KPI management, statistics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, build alignment across diverse interest groups, and communicate confidently with executive-level stakeholders.
- Structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented approach, with strong SAP MM and Microsoft Office skills, complemented by a commercial mindset and excellent execution, project management capabilities, and strong communication skills in German and English.
