As a team, we work closely with the Business Unit leadership to drive performance and help shape the future of Beyond Gravity—on Earth and beyond.
Your Mission:
- Act as a sparring partner for the Business Unit in all financial matters.
- Drive P&L, balance sheet, and free cash flow performance together with BU leadership. Control the business with key performance indicators that drive unit success, providing high transparency and consistency.
- Prepare and communicate monthly financial reporting to senior management, offering insights and recommendations.
- Review and challenge project performance, evaluating risks and opportunities in close collaboration with BU Program Management.
- Conduct cost center reviews with BU functional leaders and evaluate cost-improvement opportunities.
- Understand the dynamics and dependencies of the cash flows of the units and drive influence within the organization.
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.
- Build financial models and business cases for internal initiatives, including CAPEX, and external customer projects.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing financial documentation, responding to audit requests, and following up on agreed actions.
Your Story:
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- You bring relevant experience in Controlling, Finance, FP&A, or a similar business-oriented function.
- You are confident working with financial data and translate numbers into meaningful business insights.
- You combine strong analytical skills with a pragmatic, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in financial and business controlling.
- You have acted as the key finance partner/Business Controller in a previous role.
- Experience in a project-based business environment is essential.
- Solid understanding and handling of financial processes in ERP systems.
- Fluency in English is required (minimum C1); proficiency in German is a plus.
Nice to Haves:
- SAP S4/HANA (public cloud) experience.
- Aerospace industry knowledge.
- Exposure to senior management and experience working in an international environment.
