The Opportunity

The EY Business Consulting team provides a comprehensive range of functional and cross-border services aimed at delivering trusted advice to clients in the Financial Services industry, including Wealth & Asset Management (WAM), Banking and Capital Markets (BCM), and Insurance sectors. As the Financial Services industry undergoes remarkable transformations, this is an exhilarating time to become part of an evolving team that assists clients in navigating market changes and shifting customer demands. As a Consultant in our Transformation Execution Practice, you will support and execute challenging transformation initiatives in WAM, BCM, and insurance, while designing, planning, and delivering solutions for our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Pursuing exciting business-led, tech-enabled transformation initiatives across the Financial Services sector.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders, business partners, and multi-disciplinary teams to shape ideas, design solutions, and drive measurable, sustainable improvements in business performance.
• Utilizing storytelling techniques to present recommendations to clients clearly and analytically.
• Leveraging and enhancing our global EY methodologies, frameworks, tools, accelerators, and enablers for various transformation objectives.
• Developing your skills through on-the-job client experiences and internal training opportunities.
• Facilitating engaging internal and external roundtables and thought leadership sessions.
• Supporting go-to-market and business development initiatives to continuously provide valuable solutions for our clients.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Outstanding academic record from a leading university or university of applied sciences.
• Strong motivation to excel in a dynamic consulting environment and the financial services sector.
• Experience in team-based projects, either through university or internships.
• A curious mindset with the ability to systematically and organized approach problems.
• Excellent presentation skills and a highly client-oriented attitude.
• A strong team player, eager to proactively support solutions within motivated and diverse teams across functions and geographies.
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory; proficiency in Swiss German and any additional languages is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial work experience in consulting or Financial Services (e.g., internships, working student, entry-level position).
• Experience and/or interest in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and process improvements.
• Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
• Knowledge of or interest in ESG initiatives.
