Your Role
As a member of the IT team, you will engage in planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing IT processes for material management and logistics. This position, which reports to the Team Lead ERP & Value Chain in Switzerland, has a global scope with production sites in Switzerland and China.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Owner (AO):
- Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Accelleron's Power Users and Business Process Owners related to key processes including Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Management, Inbound Logistics, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification.
- Coordinate and implement the application strategy for SAP MM-related processes, ensuring alignment with the IS strategy.
- Develop a deep understanding of Accelleron processes and the application landscape.
- Perform SAP customization and provide specifications for SAP developments.
- Manage IT service provider relationships.
- Support Power Users in maintaining required training levels for effective SAP MM application use.
- Drive high data quality in collaboration with Power Users and End Users to enhance business processes.
- Lead temporary working groups and projects, sharing expertise and advisory support.
- Ensure the application portfolio aligns with budget expectations and handle regular forecasting.
- Process Engineering (PE):
- Identify and propose business process improvement initiatives.
- Engage with the Business to evaluate automation and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover potential enabled by new technologies and applications.
- Advise the Business throughout the implementation of SAP process improvements.
- Represent Accelleron in IS projects, acting as both Application Owner and Process Engineer.
- Identify trends and key technologies that enhance efficiency or create new business value.
- Ensure compliance with Quality and IT standards during process improvement initiatives.
Your Background
- Strong grasp of Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Management, Inbound Logistics, Inventory Management, and related tracking processes.
- Hands-on experience in Logistics Execution within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in consulting and improving business processes in a structured, value-driven manner.
- Experience with SAP MM, Master Data, and Business Partner Management.
- Familiarity with SAP PP, QM, Ariba, and SAP FIORI.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an international context.
- Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical skills to identify improvement potentials and assess new technologies.
- Proven experience in application ownership or process engineering in SAP environments.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate diverse stakeholder groups without formal authority.
- Fluent English skills (verbal and written) and solid German language capabilities.
