Join Our Team
We are seeking an experienced IT Application Owner – Finance Applications to strengthen our IT capabilities within our IT department. This is a full-time position based in Baden, Switzerland, offered with an unlimited contract and a hybrid working model.
Role Overview
In this pivotal and hands-on role, you will lead end-to-end project management for finance-related information systems, encompassing both SAP ERP and non-SAP applications. You will take ownership of key finance applications, driving automation and AI initiatives to enhance efficiency and digital maturity across the finance function.
You will report to the IS Finance Manager located in Baden and collaborate as part of a global IT organization. The role supports global finance projects and operations managed from Accelleron’s headquarters in Switzerland, providing opportunities to work with international teams and actively shape the future of finance technology within the company.
Your Responsibilities
- Application Ownership for Non-ERP Tools: Oversee the management of finance applications, primarily focusing on APOC (Accounts Payables on Cloud) and other accounting, controlling, tax, and treasury applications. Enhance applications based on business needs while ensuring stability, performance, and security.
- User Support & Issue Resolution: Provide support to end-users, addressing issues and ensuring a positive experience. Troubleshoot interface issues with SAP ERP, working closely with technical teams, and coordinate with various vendors and internal IT for issue resolution.
- IS Project Management for Finance Applications: Lead project management for finance-related IS initiatives, including the implementation of new solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless integration.
- Automation and AI Leadership: Drive projects that focus on automation and AI to optimize finance processes in collaboration with finance partners.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure performance meets contractual obligations, acting as a liaison between finance stakeholders and IT.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on project management and application ownership related to finance applications.
- Proven expertise in leading IS projects involving SAP ERP and other non-ERP finance applications.
- Strong understanding of business processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R).
- Experience with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions and integration into SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of automation and AI-driven projects in finance processes.
- Technical proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
- Excellent project management skills and experience managing complex projects.
- Deep understanding of finance software, cloud-based solutions, and IT infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical and operational challenges.
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management in finance applications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
