If you’re passionate about industrializing cutting-edge AM technologies and eager to make a significant impact, this is your opportunity to join our agile team at Accelleron’s global headquarters in Baden, Switzerland.

In this newly created role, reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Technology & Investments, you will be at the forefront of AM industrialization for turbocharger components. You will engage hands-on with advanced metal AM processes and support the entire value chain—from design and production to quality assurance.

Your strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional mindset will be crucial in driving efficiency, innovation, and scalability.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and evaluate AM part requests, planning and executing operations using CAD, CAM, and ERP tools.
  • Oversee all stages of AM operations, including design, build preparation, post-processing, quality control, and documentation.
  • Analyze in-situ and post-print data to promote continuous improvement and support the industrialization and commercialization of AM.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of AM process chains to identify optimization opportunities; apply first principles and root cause analysis to provide technical recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support material, process, and part qualification by implementing robust quality assurance methods and processes.
  • Work collaboratively with R&D, Value Chain, and Product teams to streamline AM and qualification processes for turbocharger parts, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Act as a cross-functional bridge among R&D, engineering, operations, and business teams—translating technical insights into impactful outcomes.

Your Background

  • A degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering with a focus on metal manufacturing technologies, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional or academic experience in design, process development, and/or operations within the metal AM industry.
  • Hands-on expertise in Laser Powder Bed Fusion is essential; experience with Design for AM is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD and metal AM build preparation (CAM) tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a strong passion for Additive Manufacturing.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams; project management skills are a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are required; proficiency in German is an asset.
