About the Role

As an Accountant, you will manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate transaction processing from invoice to payment. Working within a collaborative finance team, you will serve as a key point of contact for international suppliers, customers, and internal departments.

Work Tasks

  • Handle the end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring the company's financial positions are accurate and timely.
  • Support audits and month-end closing activities.
  • Process and match supplier invoices in the ERP system, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment runs.
  • Issue customer invoices and proactively follow up on overdue balances to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and AP/AR sub-ledgers with the general ledger.
  • Maintain accurate vendor and customer master data while resolving billing discrepancies.

We Are Looking For

  • A basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience working within accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a similar accounting function.
  • An educational background in Accounting, Corporate Finance, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.

It Is Meritorious If You Have

  • Good knowledge of general ledger (GL) accounting.
  • Experience with Oracle-based ERP systems.
  • Working proficiency in French or Portuguese.
  • Experience working with international customers or suppliers.
