Job Title: Technical Sales Leader for Electrification in Mining Projects

Our organization is a global leader in delivering comprehensive electrification solutions for mining projects. We specialize in systems ranging from high voltage to signal voltage, covering local control and plant automation systems, as well as supporting applications from small motors to large speed-controlled mill drives up to 28 MW, all interconnected and ready for operation.

Your Role

The technical sales team is pivotal in leading the technical proposals and developing optimized solutions. As a key member, you will leverage customer proposals as a foundation to enhance the electrical system, allowing you to assess the impact of your innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Functionally lead and guide a technical team across multiple disciplines and country organizations, or contribute as a valued team member.
  • Prepare commercially and technically optimized offers, focusing on Gearless Mill Drive (GMD) solutions in close cooperation with the front sales manager.
  • Compile overall offer documents and cost analyses, ensuring alignment with the project’s strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations for both internal teams and clients on complex system solutions.
  • Provide technical support during meetings, negotiations, and related activities.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, with a specialization in power engineering.
  • A minimum of ten years’ experience in drives system applications or complex electrical system applications (including power plants, mining, cement, or similar sectors).
  • Practical experience in commissioning is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen capacity to understand complex technical challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Willingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide, with a travel commitment of up to 15%.
  • Demonstrated sales or consulting expertise is an asset.
  • Fluent command of English.
