Job Opportunity: Technical Consultant

Medtronic is seeking a skilled Technical Consultant for our Cardiovascular Therapy Group. This role involves collaborating with interventional cardiologists, cardiac electrophysiologists, referral cardiologists, and various stakeholders to optimize heart rhythm disorder treatments. You will be responsible for supporting a diverse portfolio of products aimed at treating both bradycardia and tachycardia arrhythmias.

In this position, you will provide technical support for cardiac device implants, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders, within hospital settings. There may also be opportunities to offer technical assistance and troubleshooting in clinics and private practices. The role primarily covers the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, with occasional travel to central parts of the country, as it is a remote position, allowing your home to serve as your main workplace. However, you may be required to attend Medtronic locations for meetings periodically.

Key Responsibilities

  • Add value through high technical knowledge combined with a diplomatic approach.
  • Provide comprehensive training to all stakeholders on the optimal use of our products to ensure the best patient outcomes.
  • Organize educational and proctoring programs.
  • Promote our products' added value from both technical and commercial perspectives.
  • Deliver training sessions to healthcare professionals and act as an expert in telemedicine.
  • Offer on-site support, consulting, and education to healthcare professionals during sales presentations, product demonstrations, and product installations and maintenance.
  • Participate in conferences and congresses.
  • Provide reports of activities and issues as required by management.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital environment.
  • Strong passion for the technical aspects of Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English.
  • Strong flexibility and solid planning skills.
  • Proficiency in standard Information and Communication Tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce).
